What do you think of "Working Properly"?

More implementation of thoughts domino effect in expansion of great skills on TESTING!

Working properly means that things are according to what it is intended to do work. In terms of QC verticle people speak: Application or product is working correctly. Software testing has more than millions thoughts of each & every person as of mine also think “f u cn rd ths, u cn gt a gd jb n sftr tstng.” Just because you have counted all the doors doesn’t means you have seen the complete home.

When you enter the home you can only think that it consists of drawing room, kitchen, bedroom with same entrance & exit door but when u move inside explore the things with opening all doors navigating to every part of home you can briefly explain what it consists of showing both sides of coin to whom you interact.

Same thing occur when experience adds on, it definitely groomed in your skills just for an example a person ask to write a test cases on telephone device.

Having 1 year exp guy says:-

1. Dial pad is working properly.

2. Speaker is working properly.

3. User is able to make a call properly.

Having 2 year exp guy says:-

1. Check for the availability of Receiver.

2. Check whether the receiver is connected to Telephone

3. Check whether the receiver has both phases one is to hear an other is to talk.

4. Check whether the telephone contains the dialing no's from 1 to 10

5. Check for the Ring tone tuner by adjusting the volume.

6. Check whether the ring tone is audible when receiver is being lifted.

Having more exp guys says:-

1. To check connectivity of telephone line or cable

2. To check the modem to determine whether it is functioning or not

3. To check dial tone of the phone

4. To check the keypad while you dial any valid number on the phone

5. To check ring tone with it?s volume levels

6. To check voice of both sides (from and to) of the phone

7. To check display monitor if the phone has

8. To check redial option whether its functioning or not
